DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) -

Diboll kids are about to get a hip hop surprise on Thursday afternoon. Members of the Soul Street Dance Group out of Houston will be performing several dances for kids in the T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library summer reading program.

Chaunta Jolly, the children's coordinator at the library, said the group has visited the library before and it's a way to get kids interested in interaction. Jolly said the group will be talking about classical music and will give kids an opportunity to be interactive and break out of their shells by using dance and reading as a way to express themselves.

The program is funded through the Temple Foundation's Keeler Fund Program. The event starts at 2 p.m.

The T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library is located at 300 Park St., Diboll, Texas. For more information, visit this link,  or call (936) 829-5497.
