LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The Kurth Memorial Library in Lufkin continues it's summer of dinosaur events with an archeological dig on Friday June 27.

The dig allows children to search for one of three tyrannosaurus rex replicas.

"We will have a huge archeological site for the kids," said library director Lorraine Simoneau. "It is portioned off with ribbon and the kids have shovels, pales and little brushes they can use just like an archeologist would use."

The event runs from 10 a.m.  to 4 p.m.
