With the summer months fast approaching the Airport Parking Finder team unveils a new and updated look for their website to coincide with the busiest travel period of the year.
(PRWEB) July 01, 2014
With the summer months fast drawing near and the airports around the world, especially those in popular tourist destinations, reaching their peak usage figures, the established Airport Parking Finder website has unveiled a new look, just in time for its busiest few months of the year.
The website was founded some years ago in order to help explain the different car parking options at the most popular locations in the United Kingdom. The website has been around long enough to experience many of the most popular travel periods of the year, including the summer months and the festive Christmas period when international travel is at its most popular, with both of these periods being considered peak seasons in the travel industry.
However, while the content and guides to the parking facilities at the major UK international airports has been constantly updated and expanded to keep abreast of the latest developments, the design of the website has not been as well looked after. Once the latest revised guide to the new Heathrow airport parking facilities went live on the site, the team began working on a visual overhaul of the website.
The design and content teams worked together to devise a new look and feel for the website in order to ensure it was able to regain its previously modern and cutting edge look, which now, a few years since its launch, was starting to look a little dated. We had just added a new guide on the Newcastle airport parking options, when we took a step back from the website and tried to make an impartial evaluation of its appearance, one of the growing teams resident content writers explained. We had to be honest with ourselves and admit that the design wasnt as impressive as it once was, and that it was probably time for an update and refresh, he continued.
Once the decision had been made, all members of the website team, including those who were around when the first version of the Edinburgh airport parking guide was published, when the site was founded, sat down to work on the new design.
By taking in the opinions and advice of the content writers and the support staff, the websites team of designers were attempting to create a new design for the Airport Parking Finder website that not only looked good, but also showcased the written content, such as the Bristol airport parking guide, in the best possible way. The joint effort was also initiated to help ensure that the new look and feel of the website would be easy to use from the perspective of a new visitor arriving at the site for the first time.
As the new design has only just been set live on the website, the feedback received so far isnt conclusive. However, overall the team are reportedly happy with the response from their visitors. With the guide to the Manchester airport parking options also going live at the same time, it appears that the team are ready to tackle the impending travel season, and their busiest period of the year, with gusto.
