Two men arrested after Nacogdoches robbery

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office, two men are behind bars after robbing another man outside of a club early Saturday morning in Nacogdoches. 26-year-old Eltoro Foster and 30-year-old Audie Ray Williams were arrested and charged with robbery, a second degree felony.

Sheriff Jason Bridges says the victim placed a 911 call around 6:09 am after having money stolen from him outside of club metro in Nacogdoches. The victim told dispatch a gold Cadillac drove off, traveling toward Nacogdoches on FM 225. The vehicle was found minutes later. A traffic stop was conducted and the two men were detained at the scene.

Other deputies responded to the scene at club metro. The victim says he was shutting down the club and leaving when he was approached by two males outside the club. One of the males demanded money and the victim refused. The victim was then attacked by the suspects and attempted to flee on foot, but was tackled to the ground. The suspects then took a small amount of cash from the victim.

The stolen money was recovered and deputies also have video footage of the attack from a surveillance camera at the club.

Foster and Williams were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.

The victim received minor injuries from the assault and was treated and released at the scene.
