NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office report arresting a 60-year-old man after a search unveiled several types of drugs in his home in the Appleby area Thursday afternoon.
Nacogdoches County Sheriff Jason Bridges said his investigators have been involved in an ongoing investigation into alleged drug distribution by the suspect.
Reagan Patton is charged with three counts of third-degree and one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance and one count of Misdemeanor B possession of marijuana. Patton has posted a $29,000 bail amount and has since been released from the Nacogdoches County Jail.
According to the sheriff's office report, deputies executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Pecan Hill Lane at 2:38 p.m. Deputies located a large amount of drugs hidden inside Patton's bedroom and house, according to a press release. NCSO deputies found 3 grams of crystal metamphetamine, 10 grams of LSD, 2 grams of heroin, four grams of Ecstasy pills, and marijuana.
The deputies also found methadone, morphine, and amphetamine pills at the residence. The pills weren't identified until Friday, according to the press release.
Bridges said Patton will be charged with three additional counts of possession of a controlled substance for the pills. Even though Patton has already bonded out of the jail, NCSO investigators will obtain arrest warrants for the additional charges.
