LUFKIN, TX (News Release) -

Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help identifying a male who stole mail.

The evening of Saturday, June 07, 2014, a Lufkin resident reported that a package delivered to their residence, located in the 100 block of Moss Drive, had been stolen. The victim stated that US Postal Service package tracking information indicated car radio equipment had been delivered to the residence the previous date but the victim did not find the package.

A camera mounted outside the residence captured video of a white male walking onto the porch of the residence at approximately 7:30 p.m. the previous night. The suspect was out of range of the camera for just over a minute but when he walks away from the residence he is carrying a package that, according to the victim, contained the car radio equipment.

According to the video, the suspect is a tall, thin-build white male. If the color of the video is accurate, the suspect wore a gray T-shirt with text and a logo on its front, red pants, a red and white baseball cap, and possibly work-style boots. Although covered by the cap, his hair color appears to be red or light brown.

The image included here was pulled from the security camera video and you can view the video under the Crime of the Week section of www.LufkinCrimeStoppers.com.
