LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Two Lufkin radio stations, KSWP and KAVX, have teamed up with several East Texas agencies to stuff the bus. The back-to-school fundraiser is a way for people in the community to give back to kids who might not be able to get all of their school supplies or even afford any school supplies this school year.

“Kids go to school, and they don’t have school supplies, and they feel different from other kids and that sets them apart. Kids already look for something to make fun of other kids sometimes, so this gives them a chance to be on even footing,” said Josh Brock, an employee with KSWP.

There are several locations in Lufkin and Nacogdoches you can fill the bus. Just look for a box at the KSWP and KAVX studio, Real Graphics, Triple A Trophy, Angelina & Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce, and Journey Magazine.
