NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police officers arrested a 19-year-old on Sunday after she allegedly produced a knife during a fight at a home on Mound Street and entered the residence illegally while she was carrying a baby.
Ebony Chentel Carter, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony charge of burglary of a habitation with the intent to commit another felony and a state-jail felony charge of endangering a child. Collectively, her bail has been set at $12,500.
According to the police report, the incident happened at a residence in the 300 block of Mound Street at approximately 10:40 a.m. Sunday. The complainant told police that he and Carter got into a fight at that location. After she displayed a knife, Carter allegedly entered the home illegally while she was carrying an infant in a frontal baby carrier, the affidavit stated.
No injuries were reported, and the child was released into a family member's custody.
