East Texas teen dies in one-vehicle crash

HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -  An East Texas teen dies in a crash while driving on Farm to Market road 2781.

Houston County DPS Troopers were notified and responded to the scene of a one vehicle crash around 4 pm on Tuesday afternoon, where the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle was driven by Sabrina Parker, 16, of Kennard. According to the preliminary crash investigation Parkers 1998 Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Farm to Market Road 2781 when her vehicle drove off of the right side of the roadway, over corrected to the left.

Parker's vehicle entered into a side skid and subsequently flipped and struck a tree.

The crash is still being investigated at this time.
