Belt goes 1-for-4 in Giants' loss

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt went 1-for-4 in the Giants' 4-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday night.

Batting from the No. 3 spot, Belt struck out in the first, lined out in the third, doubled in the sixth and popped out in the eighth.

He also scored a run in the sixth.

Through 50 games this season, Belt is batting .243 with 11 home runs and 24 RBI.

The Giants continue the Milwaukee series at 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday.
