NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks look to have hit the jackpot.
Devonte Fields, a former defensive end at TCU, announced via twitter on his personal account that he will be taking his talents to SFA.

The Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year has been separated from the university since July 22. It was then reports surfaced that he allegedly threatened his ex-girlfriend with a gun, and then hit her in the face.
At this time, it looks like Fields would be eligible to play immediately at SFA as he is transferring from an FBS to FCS university.
In 16 games with the Frogs, Fields recorded 57 tackles, 10 of those being sacks.
