ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

An Angelina County Sheriff’s deputy arrested a 25-year-old Zavalla for driving while intoxicated with a 2-year-old child in the car after she was allegedly spotted weaving in and out of her traffic lane late Wednesday night.

Victoria Webster Drake is still being held in the Angelina county jail on a state-jail felony charge of DWI with a child under the age of 15 in the car and two capias pro fine traffic warrants. No bail has been set for the DWI charge.

According to an incident report, an ACSO deputy on patrol spotted Drake driving erratically near the intersection of US 59 and Old Highway 69 at approximately 11:47 p.m. Wednesday and made a traffic stop.

When the deputy went to talk to Drake, he allegedly noticed the odor of alcohol on or about her, and she admitted that she had drunk an alcoholic beverage before she got into her vehicle. According to the incident report, Drake failed the field sobriety tests.

The deputy noticed that Drake had an unsecured 2-year-old child in the car with her.
