STANFIELD, AZ (CBS5) -

An illegal immigrant found in Vekol Valley along Interstate 8 is expected to be deported for a 17th time.

On Wednesday, a Pinal County Sheriff's deputy was tracking fresh shoe prints of a group walking northbound from I-8 in Vekol Valley - a vast area near the Pinal-Maricopa county line - when the deputy came across a man in a camouflage shirt who identified himself as Aaron Marquez Quintero, 36, from Mexico and admitted to being in the U.S. illegally.

Quintero claimed to be traveling alone but deputies found three more illegal immigrants from Mexico with more than 200 pounds of marijuana, valued at $106,700.

They were identified as Herman Garcia Cruz, 25, Alizio Dial Argos, 21, and Cesar Banegas Gonzalez, 19.

The suspects claimed their payment for smuggling the pot was a ride to Phoenix.

All four men were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, and transportation of marijuana.

More than a few tar-covered tires are hanging on to the parking lot of a Lufkin tire shop.  On August 31, newly laid asphalt on Loop 287 started sticking to tires of those driving, leaving many of the cars un-driveable. As of Friday, the Texas Department of Transportation hadn't come out with an official cause for the incident, but that hasn't stopped over 600 people from filing claims with them.
