ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance call on Sunday in which a grandmother allegedly whacked her son and grandson on their rear ends with a boat paddle after she warned them to stop fighting.
According to the ACSO incident report, the alleged spankings occurred at a residence in the 1800 block of Marion's Ferry at approximately 5:33 p.m.
When the deputy arrived on the scene, the grandmother told him that her 17-year-old grandson kept trying to aggravate his 44-year-old father by hitting him in the back of the head. Fed up, the father allegedly took a swing at his son.
At that point, the grandmother picked up a boat paddle and told both men that she was going to "whoop them" with it if they didn't stop. The grandson and her son ignored her.
"Finally, she did her son and grandson across the buttocks with it, and both went their separate ways," the incident report stated.
