LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin business claims that someone left fecal matter on the sidewalk in front of their store for the fifth times in two months.
According to the Lufkin Police Department, officers received a call around noon on Friday from a business in the South Loop Crossing shopping center that someone had defecated in front of their store.
The business told police that they didn't see it happen, but they believe it occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Friday.
Lt. Mike Shurley, with the Lufkin Police Department, didn't want to name the business, but said the incidents are happening between two stores in the shopping center.
Shurley said police are looking into the incident and believe that whoever is doing this isn't using the restroom on the sidewalk, but instead driving by and placing it on the sidewalk.
