Trinity PD: Woman angry at boyfriend smashes car window with brick, scratches words into paint

TRINITY, TX (KTRE) -

Trinity Police officers arrested 22-year-old Houston woman after she allegedly got angry that her boyfriend was seeing another woman and threw a brick through the back window of his car. She also scratched obscenities and racial epithets into the car's paint.

Rudy Riley was arrested on Tuesday and charged with criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000, which is a state-jail felony.

According to a police report, the incident occurred on Aug. 9. A Trinity Police officer was dispatched to a residence on Barker Street.

The complainant told the TPD officer that while he was in Palestine, his girlfriend texted him a picture of the damage to his car, along with a message saying that she would pay for it. The complainant told the officer that his girlfriend was upset at him because she was upset that he was seeing another woman.
