NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches' Brandon Jones is hoping a second opinion will save him from sitting out the rest of the season.
Head coach Bobby Reyes said he and Jones spoke, and with Nacogdoches having a bye this week, Jones will head to Houston to see if he tore his PCL.
Jones has been told by one orthopedic surgeon his PCL is torn. If it is in fact torn, the safety will need surgery and will be out the remainder of the season.
Jones said the injury occurred almost two weeks ago in the Hallsville game.
The junior is not only considered as one of the Dragons' best defensive players, Jones is considered the best in East Texas for his class with 30 collegiate offers.
