NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police officers are investigating an odd incident that occurred at a convenience store at the intersection of Starr and University Sunday.

A masked suspect entered the convenience store late Sunday night and indicated that he had something under his shirt, according to Sgt. Greg Sowell, a spokesman for the Nacogdoches Police Department. After the suspect had a short conversation with the clerk, he left the store on foot without taking anything.

The cashier described the suspect as a black man who stood approximately 5-foot-7. Nacogdoches Police officers were unable to locate the suspect when they searched the area.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the police report, the complaint wishes to file charges if the suspect is located. If someone is arrested for the incident, the person could be facing a second-degree aggravated robbery.
