NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office are searching the Cushing area for a 73-year-old man believed to have Alzheimer's.
Ernest McBride is a white man and was reported missing from his home around 1:50 a.m. Thursday. He was last seen walking in the Cushing area around 5 p.m. Wednesday.
He is 6-foot tall with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white cowboy straw hat, blue striped shirt, jeans and black shoes. He is believed to be walking with a small dog.
Sheriff Jason Bridges said there is a concern McBride may be confused and unable to find his way home and could have walked several miles by now.
