LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Around 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014, security cameras inside Target in Lufkin captured video of an unidentified female stuffing merchandise into a shoulder bag. A Loss Prevention employee was unable to detain the suspect before she fled the store with the merchandise.
The total amount and value of the merchandise stolen is not known but, after viewing the video, the employee believes two pair of pants, body lotion, hair conditioner, and men's Gillette shaving cartridges are among the items stolen.
The suspect is described as an overweight, black female wearing a thin-strap, yellow tank top and blue, possibly fleece material, and Capri-style pants. Her short, combed-back hair had a reddish tint and she carried a blue and black shoulder bag with a white, triangular shaped logo on its side.
