NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Cushing man who went missing for nearly a week before he was found has died.
Ernest McBride was 73.
The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office Facebook page reported McBride died Thursday afternoon in a Nacogdoches hospital.
McBride was reported missing on Sept. 24 and was later found Tuesday off of County Road 820 under an awning. A mowing crew found him dehydrated and with ants crawling on him.
He was believed to have been suffering from Alzheimer's and had wandered from his home.
