Minutes after midnight September 20, 2014, someone burglarized the Academy of Hair Design at 512 South Chestnut Street in Lufkin and Crime Stoppers of Lufkin needs your help identifying the burglar.

The criminal entered through the rear of the building. Although his path can be tracked through video captured by security camera, he concealed his face by pulling his shirt over his head as the approached the lighted areas covered by the cameras. Once inside, the burglar went through several rooms before taking a cash register drawer and fleeing scene.

The image shown here was pulled from the security camera videos but, due to low light and video quality, investigators were unable to readily identify the burglar. Someone reading this article or viewing the video knows the identity of this criminal and his or her anonymous tip will solve this crime.

The burglar appears to be a black male in his mid-teens to early twenties with a short afro-style haircut. While burglarizing the business, he wore slide sandals and dark-colored sweat pants that sagged nearly below his light-colored boxer shorts and had to be held with one hand.
