An Onalaska woman died in a two car collision in Polk County. The accident happened Saturday morning at the intersection of Highway 59 South and Farm to Market road 350.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Debra Powell Dewberry, 63, was killed after she ran a stop sign before crossing 59. Her Cobalt car was hit by an oncoming Jeep Wrangler driven by Jodie Lynn Groves, 37, a teacher from Livingston.
Dewberry wasn't wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Groves was buckled in and received no injuries.
