An East Texas soldier shot in the arm while serving in Iraq last month is doing much better.
Marine Jody Perritte was shot by sniper fire on the streets of Fallujah. After several surgeries to remove the bullet, Jody is back home now and doing fine.
Early on, doctors worried that Jody was not going to recover use of his arm. To the amazement of many, Jody may be looking at a full recovery. Jody is feeling so well he even went out hunting Thursday.
