Texas Rangers Need Help Identifying Gunman

by Ramonica R. Jones

Texas Rangers need help identifying a man accused of shooting at a policeman earlier this month.

Authorities say 30-year-old Chris Johnson fired several shots at a Trinity police officer near White Rock Creek. The officer was on patrol near the boat ramp on Highway 94 when he noticed Johnson sitting nearby. When the officer asked for the man's name, Johnson reportedly pulled out a gun and started shooting. He ran off and hasn't been seen since. Authorities say it's possible he drowned in White Rock Creek.
