Anthrax Scare At Lufkin Bank

Some anxious moments Friday at a Lufkin bank.

The commotion started after employees found some mysterious white powder in a roll of coins. A hazmat crew was called out to investigate the powder at the Bank Of America on the loop.

The powder was given a test for Anthrax. That test came back negative.

The hazmat team was unable to determine what the substance was. As a precaution they put all the coins in bleach to neutralize the powder.

Business went on as usual at the bank during the testing.
