Low Carb Diets Declining?

A recent report claims that the popularity of low carb diets are on the decline.

Many Americans who jumped on the low carb band wagon about a year ago are now disinterested in the diet and many are calling it quits. Local doctors say that's no surprise because most Americans simply enjoy carbohydrates.

Dr. Kelley Moon, a family physician, said, "Just like anything that is good and continues to be good, without dedication and commitment, just like exercise and regimen, Americans will continue to lose interest on things that are more challenging for them."

Dr. Moon says the diet is a lifestyle change and many are unsuccessful because they try it for a few months and return to their old habits.
