TAMPA, FL (KTRE) - We will soon be able to see former Lufkin Panther Jorvorskie Lane back on the field with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he will be eligible to return Monday, November 3.
The fullback was put on a 2-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
Lane admitted he took a water pill to help manage his weight, an issue he said he has battled with for many years now. Lane also said he took the pill without knowing it was a banned substance. Either way, Lane said he takes responsibility from his actions.
"I'm just getting better as a person. I'm still working hard. Once I come back, the plan from what they told me is that we're going to go from there and jump right back in like nothing happened," said Lane. "I'll just learn from it, and we're going to try and turn our season around."
