LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Meet Lilly. She's a sweet two-year-old Dachshund mix who is not afraid to make herself comfortable anywhere. She was surrendered to the shelter about two weeks ago, and she's already feeling homesick.
"Well she was forced out, and her parents were forced to surrender her because the landlord would not allow a pet, and she had already kind of made her home there," said Scott Nunn, Executive Director at Winnie Berry Humane Society. "Fortunately for us we were able to take her in and hopefully we'll be able to find her a good home."
Lilly is absolutely adorable and so precious. She would be a perfect pet for anybody. It would probably be best inside if she was an inside dog, but she would just love to cuddle up and be your new best friend.
"She's super great with children, parents, grandparents just would make anybody a great companion," Nunn said.
She's already been spayed. She's up-to-date on all her shots and loves to run, play and snuggle.
"She's very friendly. She likes to explore and sniff around she doesn't bark, which is great," Nunn said.
