Angelina Beautiful/Clean hosting 'shred' days Nov. 13-14

LUFKIN, TX (News Release) -

Angelina Beautiful/Clean and Woodland Heights Medical Center are celebrating America Recycles Day by hosting two “shred” days.

Bring your unwanted documents to the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce (1615 S. Chestnut) on November 13th or 14th from 9 a.m. to noon. Security Shredding will shred and recycle your documents. This event is free of charge to the community. Businesses are limited to five boxes.

Donations can be made to Angelina Beautiful/Clean.

Help us celebrate America Recycles Day by cleaning out unwanted waste while knowing your confidential documents are being completely destroyed on site.

For every ton of paper recycled:

  • 17 trees are not cut down
  • 7,000 gallons of water will be not used
  • 380 gallons of oil will not be used
  • Enough energy will be saved to heat your home for 6 months
  • 3 cubic yards of landfill space will not be filled
