LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Do you have paperwork you want to get rid of? Well you're in luck. It's shred day Thursday and Friday at the Lufkin chamber.
Angelina Beautiful/Clean and Woodland Heights Medical Center have partnered to offer the the bi-annual service to residents and businesses.
You can have any unwanted documents shredded and recycled for free. Businesses are limited to five boxes.
"You can shred any type of paperwork you have. It can be unwanted documents, papers you have from 30 years ago. A lot of people want to bring things that may have their social security number or any identifying information on that paperwork," said Maegan Prejean, Executive Director at Angelina Beautiful/Clean.
You can drop off paper to be shredded and recycled in the Lufkin Chamber of Commerce parking lot form 9:00 am to noon.
