DPS: No one injured in Oncor truck rollover on US 259 north of Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Traffic was blocked on US Highway 259 north of Nacogdoches for a short time Wednesday morning after an Oncor utility truck went off the road and rolled over. No one was injured in the accident.

According to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday. Troopers from the Nacogdoches DPS office were dispatched to the scene of a one-vehicle rollover accident.

Based on the information available at this time, the driver of the Oncor truck was headed north on US 259 when it went off the road to the right. After the driver over-corrected to the left, the truck veered across the southbound lanes of traffic, drove into some trees, and rolled over onto its side, the press release stated.

The crash scene has been cleared, and traffic is moving normally again.
