NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested three Shreveport men after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of one and a half pounds of marijuana and two guns Thursday.
Liljason Harris, 20, Henry Lewis, 30, Docoreyon Reed, 21, all of Shreveport, are still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail. All three men were charged with state-jail felony possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds. No bail has been set for them at this time.
According to a press release, an NCSO deputy stopped a vehicle the men were traveling in for speeding and seatbelt violations. All three men were allegedly acting very nervous, and they gave conflicting statements to the deputy.
After the deputy got permission to search the vehicle, he found one and a half pounds of marijuana and a Tech-9 pistol and a 9 mm pistol hidden inside the vehicle.
Harris, Lewis, and Reed were arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
