NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - An arrest affidavit lists details in events which lead to the arrest of a Nacogdoches High School football standout.
Jaylon Deandre Lane, 17, was arrested on Thursday on charges of third-degree obstruction, misdemeanor B criminal mischief and misdemeanor A resisting arrest.
After bailing out of jail, Lane posted on his Twitter account that he would no longer be attending Oklahoma State on a football scholarship.
An arrest affidavit released Monday states NISD officers were dispatched to a classroom on campus. It states Lane and another student, who is a juvenile, were in a confrontation with a teacher and Lane threw a calculator at the teacher, who was able to dodge it. Lane also overturned desks, according to the affidavit.
It states officers tried to contain Lane and he resisted by jerking away. Once free, he knocked a computer and monitor to the floor as well as knocking items to the floor from another desk, according to the affidavit.
Once he was subdued, he was taken into custody.
