AUSTIN, TX (KTRE) - A Texas court has denied an appeal for a Nacogdoches man who robbed another man on the SFA campus in January 2011.
Jerry Don Thorn, 26, is serving a 35-year prison sentence on a charge of robbery.
According to a previous report, a man was approached by Thorn and Demarcus Andre Wade, in the parking lot between Hall 14 and Lumberjack Lodge. One of them pulled a handgun and demanded the man's wallet and cellphone. They then left the area.
Wade is serving a 30-year prison sentence.
The court denied Thorn's appeal without a written order.
