Ryan Lee O'Neil was booked into the Angelina County Jail on a misdemeanor public intoxication charge. He was released later Tuesday after he posted a $500 bail.

According to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office activity report, the person who called the incident in to 911 at about 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, said that an unknown person was sitting on his or her porch at a residence in the 200 block of Flat Bottom Road. When an ACSO deputy made contact with the man, O'Neil initially said that he had wound up getting lost in the woods for several days while he was searching for arrowheads.
