NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police officers and FBI agents arrested a 27-year-old man on an outstanding felony warrant for attempted murder out of Denver, Colorado on Wednesday morning.
Ahmad Abdinasir Ahmad, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on the outstanding attempted murder warrant out of Denver. No bail has been set at this time.
The NPD officers and FBI agents arrested Ahmad at an apartment complex located at 3022 North Pecan Street Wednesday morning.
The law enforcement officers also arrested two other Nacogdoches men at the scene. Ali Abdulkadir Mohamed and Abdullahi Mohamed Ali, both 26, were arrested and charged with hindering the arrest or prosecution of a felon, which is a third-degree felony.
Mohamed and Ali's bail amounts were each set at $10,000.
According to the arrest affidavits for Mohamed and Ali, the officers who served the warrant asked if Ahmad was inside the residence and then showed them a picture. The two men allegedly denied that Ahmad was in the residence, and the law enforcement officers found the attempted murder suspect inside the apartment a short time later.
