Tenaha headed to their fourth consecutive State Semifinal after beating undefeated Iola 35-28

TENAHA, TX (KTRE) -

What was expected to be one of Tenaha's toughest games this season, turned out to be much easier of a task against the formally undefeated Iola Bulldogs. The Tigers were crowned Regional Champions after beating Iola 35-28.

While the game was back and forth, the Tigers never trailed and lead as much as 28-7 at half.

Iola's offense started to generate points in the second half, and came close to tying the game until Tenaha managed to stop Iola on their own 8-yard line.

Tenaha (11-1) is now headed to the State Semifinals for their fourth consecutive year where they will play an undefeated Bremond team (13-0).
