After Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies went to check out suspicious activity at Etoile Park Friday afternoon a 48-year-old Diboll man was arrested on a felony drug charge because he allegedly had two ounces of crystal methamphetamine in his vehicle.
Agustin Martinez Enriquez is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams charge and a Class A misdemeanor unlawful carrying a weapon charge. No bail has been set at this time.
According to a press release, NCSO deputies made contact with Enriquez in Etoile Park after they noticed suspicious activity, and they allegedly noticed a gun next to the driver's seat of his vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, the deputies found 2 ounces of crystal meth, according to the press release.
Enriquez was arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
The press release stated that the street value of the meth was more than $5,000.
