Man Sentenced to Prison for Shooting In-Laws

A man accused of shooting his in-laws is heading to prison for two years.

A judge gave the sentence to Eric Holcombe for a Lufkin shooting back in 2003. A jury failed to reach a verdict in his trial last May. The Groveton man had been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The shooting victims all recovered from their injuries.
