LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Diboll man received a probation sentence for sending disturbing and threatening text messages to a woman he had lived with.
Reagan Todd Horton, 44, pleaded guilty to third-degree stalking in Judge Barry Bryan's courtroom.
District Attorney Art Bauereiss said they agreed to the plea bargain after discussing the case with the victim.
As part of his five-year probation sentence, Horton must remain away from the victim.
Lufkin police arrested Horton in February after a woman reported receiving disturbing text messages from Horton.
