New Faces in Nacogdoches County

With the new year beginning, there are several new faces in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse and sheriff's office.

Two new administrative assistants are now holding down the fort for Sheriff Thomas Kerss and his deputy chief. Joy Hunter filled the position after Angie King, the former administrative assistant, was accused of theft.

District Attorney Stephanie Stephens also has new help. The sheriff's wife, Codi is the new Crime Assistant Coordinator. The newest employee Assistant District Attorney Rachel Patton is also part of the team. She came on board in late December.
