Nacogdoches Police officers arrested a 29-year-old man on Wednesday in connection to allegations that he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl at his residence on multiple occasions.
Laurencio Dominguez Trujillo, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a second-degree felony sexual assault of a child charge. No bail has been set at this time.
According to the arrest affidavit, an NPD detective received word on Nov. 19 that a 14-year-old girl had been involved in a sexual relationship with Trujillo. The investigation revealed that the girl would leave her home in the night time hours and be picked up by Trujillo, the affidavit stated.
Then Trujillo and the girl would go to his residence on Ritchie Street they would allegedly perform sexual acts, including intercourse, on each other. The sexual encounters occurred multiple times, and the latest one was on Halloween night of 2014, the affidavit stated.
When the NPD detective interviewed Trujillo on Dec. 4, he allegedly admitted to having sex with the girl on several occasions.
In the state of Texas, a child under the age of 17 cannot legally give consent to have sex.
