GROVETON, TX (KTRE) - A Trinity County judge has sentenced a Groveton man for 30 years in prison following his third drug-related conviction.
Jason Hill, 40, pleaded guilty earlier this year. Judge Ernie McClendon handed down the sentence on Thursday.
Hill was arrested along with five others in March following a bust on a home on Jim Butler Road.
Sheriff Woody Wallace said this was Hill's third drug conviction.
"We're making a strong stand," Wallace said. "So it's a good idea for you if you deal dope not to do it in Trinity County."
