Nacogdoches Co. Sheriff: Man had 9.1 ounces of coke hidden in apartment

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested a 33-year-old man on a first-degree felony drug possession charge Thursday afternoon after a search of his apartment revealed 9.1 ounces of cocaine, according to a press release.

Richard Fernando Molina, 33, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony charge of possession of controlled substance between 200 and 400 grams. His bail has been set at $25,000.

According to a press release, NCSO deputies received information about a suspect dealing a large amount of cocaine from an apartment complex on Bowie Street. After the deputies got consent to search the apartment, they found 9.1 ounces of cocaine hidden inside the residence.

Molina was arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.

Nacogdoches County Sheriff Jason Bridges said the seized cocaine has a street value of more than $8,000.
