LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin police are charging a Pollok woman with a felony charge after she allegedly got in a confrontation with a store employee after shoplifting headphones at Best Buy Monday.

Alice Shianne Horton, 23, is charged with second-degree robbery.

According to the police report, an officer was sent to Best Buy, located at 4505 S. Medford Drive, at 7:06 p.m. When they arrived, they heard a woman screaming from the back of the building. The officer ran to the back of the store and reported seeing two men holding a woman on the ground.

A woman told the officer that she saw Horton on surveillance video place a set of headphones in her purse and walk into the restroom. The woman said she confronted her in the restroom and asked for the headphones. She said Horton got them out of her purse and handed them back, then pushed her in the chest. The woman and another woman grabbed her and Horton grabbed on of their hair and pulled it hard enough to give her a headache.

Horton was convicted in Feb. 2012 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and received a four-year prison sentence. She was paroled on Dec. 20, 2013.
