The suspect accused of spitting in the drink of a Lufkin police officer has agreed to a plea deal.
22-year-old Nathaniel Baker pleaded guilty to retaliation charges during a recent hearing. He has been sentenced to six years probation for tampering with the officer's drink.
A second suspect, 19-year-old Brian Strban is accused of having Baker spit into the officer's drink before Strban served it to him. Investigators believe Strban recognized the officer as the person who has stopped him and his girlfriend earlier from making out in the car.
