Grand jury indicts Nacogdoches woman for child found on road

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches woman has been booked in and out of jail after a grand jury has indicted her on an allegation she left a child home alone.

Antonia Flores Moreno, 43, is charged with state-jail felony abandoning a child.

According to the indictment filed on Dec. 19, Moreno left a child home alone on Nov. 17. The child was later found in the road.

The indictment alludes to the child being an infant when it states "the defendant did not voluntarily deliver the child to a designated emergency infant care."

Moreno booked out of the jail after posting a $7,500 bond.
