East Texas driver injured after rear-ending fertilizer truck

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -  Around 6 pm Thursday night a Toyota Camry was traveling on U.S. Interstate 69 north when it rear ended an fertilizer truck.

The driver of the Camry was identified as Amber Redd by Officer William Wilson of the Texas Department of Public Safety. Redd was transported to Woodland Heights with several broken bones. 

Texas Department of Public Safety, Angelina County Sheriff's Department, Lufkin Fire Department, and the Central volunteer Fire Department were on the scene to respond to the incident. 

Early reports indicate that the driver of the fertilizer truck was not injured.
