A murderer's story

It started in May, when children playing in a wooded area found a dead body. It continued last June, when investigators determined Justin Welch had killed Elisha Henson, after he discovered she had HIV and he had already had sex with her. And just this past Monday, Welch pleaded guilty to strangling Henson to death, accepting a 50-year prison sentence. Today, Welch sat down with our own Maleeha Kamal in the Angelina County Jail to discuss exactly why and how he killed Henson, his regrets, what he plans to do in his future. We even ask him about his health. That exclusive interview comes to you tonight at 6 and 10.

Also at 6, Caleb Beames is live from the Angelina County Courthouse, where the alleged "door-kick burglar" is on trial in the cases which gave Lufkin police and residents in the community fits for weeks.

Also at 6, Erika Bazaldua reports from Diboll, where high school students face off in a good ol' East Texas cupcake battle. You'll have your stomach growling after you see this story.
